NateTheHate, a reliable leaker and podcaster, claimed Halo: The Master Chief Collection and Microsoft flight Simulator 2024 will be coming to the Nintendo Switch 2.
These games are also rumored to be releasing on the PlayStation 5 despite being Xbox-exclusive.
Microsoft releasing games on other platforms isn't surprising since they've already begun releasing other games on PlayStation 5 such as Pentiment, Hi-Fi Rush, Sea of Thieves, and Grounded.
It was also announced recently that Microsoft will be releasing Doom: The Dark Ages for PS5 and will also release a PS5 version of Indiana Jones and the Great Circle.
This appears to just be a continuation of that strategy, but it is noteworthy that the Nintendo Switch 2 will even be able to run these games.
Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 is a pretty hefty game, requiring at least a GeForce GTX 970 to play it at a minimum.
This tells us that the Switch 2 is either going to be decently powerful, or there is going to be a serious amount of optimization to get it running at a decent frame rate.
This news also comes at the same time that Nintendo has been dealing with numerous Nintendo Switch 2 leaks, which Nintendo acknowledged as "Not Official".
These leaks included a 360 degree render of the Switch 2, telling us the following:
Matthew Sutton
I write about video games for consoles and PC. I tend to gravitate to RPG's, looter shooters, hero shooters, and the occasional 4x or card game. I'm a big fan of the Witcher Series (but not the netflix series) and the Destiny franchise, but I play nearly every big release that comes out with indie games sprinkled into the mix.
